Davie moved to Australia to pursue the ’Australian dream’, originally on a holiday visa, fast forward 15 years, and he now calls Brisbane home - with his own successful painting business alongside a skilled team of painters, his wife Melanie, their two boys and a dog named Ted. In a rare moment, when he puts his paint brush down, you’ll find Davie spending time with his family, ordering anything with a side of potatoes when dining out.

As the face of the business, Davie is well known around the Brisbane locale. His distinctive Irish accent and outgoing personality guarantee he is heard before he is seen. An early starter in the painting industry, Davie was 12 when he first picked up a paint brush to learn the tools of the trade from his grandfather and father in their family business. As a third-generation painter, Davie’s genuine passion for painting and its transformative abilities is evident in the beautiful work he produces - from interior painting to specialised finishes like wallpapering and faux finish techniques.
